OBLIGATION TO DECLARE YOUR PROPERTY AND REGISTER ON DECLALOC
General information:The system for declaring furnished accommodation consists of a double declaration, available at www.declaloc.fr
1/ The first "Registration Procedure" declaration enables you to register your rental and obtain a 13-character registration number.
This number must be entered on digital reservation platforms (Airbnb, Abritel, etc.), which are now obliged to ask for it.
2/ The second "Change of use" declaration enables you to meet the new obligations introduced on our territory to manage the rental stock. This authorization request is essential.
If your furnished rental is your principal residence, you are only required to complete the first declaration (registration procedure), bearing in mind that the rental of your property is limited to 120 days per year.
Obligations of digital booking platforms (Airbnb, Abritel...)
Platforms are obliged to deactivate ads without a registration number and ads that exceed the 120-day annual rental threshold for principal residences in municipalities that have introduced a registration number.
Local authorities can also ask platforms to count the number of days a furnished accommodation has been rented through them.
