This is the charm of one of the oldest villages in Provence, located in the Var department between plains and hills. The village is rich in history and bears the traces of the past. The Vieux Cuers, witness of the medieval period, reveals winding streets lined with beautiful houses from past centuries climbing the hill. The community has numerous fountains and wash houses and offers a magnificent view from the Chapel of Notre Dame de Santé.
In addition to thishistorical heritage comes a natural heritage: the Barres de Cuers, a beautiful series of limestone cliffs that is a must-see for nature lovers. Throughout the year, other marked trails around the commune attract hikers.
Cuers is also an important vineyard community and is proud of its nearly 1000 hectares of vineyards, whose cuvées are known as "Côtes de Provence."
