Méditerranée Porte des Maures, an accessible region..
Our region has made its tourist destination a welcoming place for all.
Developing and facilitating the discovery of our communes means above all informing you about access to our tourist sites and communal services, offering you quality services and welcoming you by taking into account the specific needs of everyone.
Our "Guide des Vacances Accessibles" (Accessible Holidays Guide), published since 2012, presents the tourist facilities and establishments in our intermunicipal area that have been awarded the Tourisme & Handicap label or qualified as Var Accessible, and that meet the needs of all types of clientele:
- people with disabilities who experience hearing, mental, motor or visual difficulties on a daily basis,
- but also people with occasional disabilities,
- the elderly
- parents with children..
Our aim is to provide an independent public with precise and detailed information, so that each person with a disability can individually assess the accessibility of the sites to be discovered.

Testimonial from the APF Aveyron delegation:
"...I would like to express our enthusiasm for the publication of your recent "accessibility guide".
The existence of guides presenting the various accessible tourist sites (restaurants, accommodation, visits, etc.) is a real gold mine. It allows us to get straight to the point and not waste any time. The best thing about your guide is, of course, the classification of accessibility for each type of disability, but above all, the invaluable details provided: parking lots, entrances, door widths, floor conditions, signage. Thanks to this tool, you'll save us the trouble of asking so many questions..."
