Christian, artisan winemaker and current owner, says: "In my youth, the vineyard was my playground. Since I was very young, clinging to my father's heels, I have lived our land. I learnt to feel it quivering, warming up, giving itself over. Like my father, I have never stopped tilling the vines in winter, untilling them in spring, ploughing the revered earth, forcing it to take root very deeply so that it in turn nourishes the vines. Today the tractor has replaced my grandfather's plough horse. But since the beginning, the Domaine has been maintained organically".
Heir to a great-grandfather who founded the Domaine Saint Victorin, to a grandfather, and then to a father who bequeathed him the family vineyard, classified as AOC Côtes de Provence, Christian Troin, a winegrower by trade, cultivates the tradition with pride, and in turn passes on to his son Damien, 30 years old, the secrets of the know-how of great wines.
