Château La Tour de l'Evêque
Presentation
Steeped in history, the estate is an integral part of the heritage of Provence and France. Today, the estate is run by Pierre François de Bernardi, nephew of Régine Sumeire. Régine Sumeire, a leading figure in Provençal winegrowing, left her mark on the history of rosé wine as one of the pioneers of pale rosés. In 1985, she created the cuvée Pétale de Rose, which has since become an emblematic reference in Provence.
With over 80 hectares of vines, Château La Tour de l'Évêque enjoys an exceptional landscape, nestling in a natural setting surrounded by the hills of the Maures.
Our practices: organic and biodynamic farming, horse-drawn ploughing, manual harvesting, sorting on the vine, massal selection.
Our principles: Respect for the terroir, gravity vinification, whole bunch pressing, Champagne press.
