Château La Tour de l'Evêque
Presentation
The name Sainte Anne comes from a chapel that was once a place of pilgrimage. The history of this estate is part of the history of Provence and France. Régine Sumeire continues the family tradition. At the end of 2010, work began on a major extension to the winery and the bottling and storage facilities, using gravity principles. The winery was operational for the 2011 harvest.
Our practices: organic and biodynamic farming, horse-drawn ploughing, manual harvesting, sorting on the vine, massal selection.
Our principles: Respect for the terroir, vinification by gravity, trials with indigenous yeast, whole bunch pressing, Champagne press.
