Château La Tour de l'Evêque
Presentation
The name Sainte Anne is said to be that of a chapel which was once a place of pilgrimage. The past of this estate belongs to the history of Provence and France. Régine Sumeire ensures the continuity of the family work. At the end of 2010, a major project to extend the cellar and the bottling and storage areas was begun, using gravity principles. The cellar was operational for the 2011 harvest.
Our practices: organic farming, biodynamic practices, ploughing with a horse, manual harvesting, sorting on the vine, massal selection.
Our principles: Respect for the terroir, gravity vinification, native yeast trials, whole bunch pressing, Champagne press.
