An immersive experience at the heart of the Provençal vineyards!



Nestled amidst a sea of vines, surrounded by the Maures hills, Château la Tour de l’Évêque invites visitors to discover its history, terroir and expertise.


Owned by the Sumeire family since 1958, the estate cultivates its vines in accordance with the principles of organic farming. The Château’s philosophy is based on paying particular attention to the vines and the terroir, from growing the grapes right through to winemaking.


• Wine and olive oil tasting:

For a self-guided tour, head to the wine cellar to taste the Château’s wines and discover its olive oil too.
This is your chance to discover the estate’s various vintages, including the famous Pétale de Rose, as well as the Sainte-Anne and Tour de l’Évêque ranges.



• Guided tour of the cellar:

Fancy delving deeper into the estate’s world? Book a guided tour of the cellar led by one of the estate’s experts.

Following an introduction to the Château and its history, discover the stages of winemaking and the secrets behind the production of the wines, before rounding off with a guided tasting of the full range.
The tour is available by booking only and is not available during the grape harvest, from 15 August to 15 September.



• Your experience can be complemented by a cheese platter, an extra glass or a bottle, subject to booking.



• The estate also offers a picnic in the vineyards, complete with a gourmet hamper, and the option to explore the estate on foot or by bike. Bikes are not provided.



Château la Tour de l’Évêque also welcomes groups wishing to combine a tour of the vineyard with wine tasting and fine dining.
Following the tour and tasting of the estate’s wines, several dining options are available to round off the experience:



• Cheese platter: an assortment of cheeses served with bread and accompaniments.
• Light lunch: a light lunch with a local flavour, featuring cold meats, cheeses, spreads, olives and bread.

• Gourmet lunch: a more generous set menu centred on local produce, complemented by seasonal fruit or a dessert of the day.


These packages allow you to create a convivial wine-tasting day out, ideal for groups of friends, clubs, companies or tourist groups, combining a tour of the estate, wine tasting and a gourmet experience.
