An interior designer and architect for almost 15 years, Benjamin Artese has forged a special bond with crafts, particularly ceramics.
In October 2021, he moved to the Hameau de Valcros, in the heart of the Provencal forest, where he set up his own fully-equipped potter's studio to produce all his creations from A to Z.
In this intimate setting, he works with stoneware, a material renowned for its strength, and fires at high temperatures (1250°C).
Benjamin creates one-off pieces, ranging from decorative objects to specific commissions such as house plaques, ceramic logos and crockery sets.

His approach combines expertise and passion, and he shares this know-how through modelling and throwing initiations for small groups of two people. His creations, which are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, are true testaments to his love of ceramics.

Benjamin's workshop is open by appointment for technical introductions to modelling and throwing, with 3-hour sessions for a maximum of 2 participants.
