The guest room was the only tourist accommodation activity not subject to classification.
A specific reference system has been set up at the national level by the federation of tourist offices in order to qualify guest rooms, through a visit by the tourist office. This qualification is based on :
- The quality of services,
- The quality of the equipment and the layout of the rooms and bathrooms,
- The general state of cleanliness,
- And the respect of the environment.

The Intercommunal Tourist Office in La Londe les Maures has been a qualifying body since 2013.
The cost of the qualification file for the intercommunal varies according to the number of rooms:
- Establishments with 1 room: 90 €
- Establishments with 2 rooms: 105 €
- Establishments with 3 rooms: 120 €
- Establishments with 4 rooms: 135 €
- Establishments with 5 rooms: 150 €
This qualification is validated by the Regional Commission of qualification of the Rooms of Hosts Reference. The owner is given a diploma for each room, which makes the qualification official.
The accommodations are thus recognized as quality accommodations by the national network of tourist offices and by the customers.
