Bordered on either side by the Mediterranean Sea, Domaine de la Courtade covers a surface of 38 hectares spread over the hillsides and the plain. Created in 1983, the vineyard currently produces more than 150,000 bottles of Côtes de Provence in three colours, white, red and rosé.
The vineyard enjoys an exceptional terroir. The soil on the hillsides is composed mainly of brittle metamorphic schist and clay that retains water whilst allowing the roots to spread deep to find nutriments. The vineyard thrives in this environment and produce grapes that are packed with juice.
Ils s'engagent :
In the heart of the Port-Cros National Park, the Domaine has been working with organic farming methods since 1997. Following the purchase by Edouard Carmignac in 2014, Florent Audibert, the Domaine's new manager, is moving towards biodynamic viticulture, confirming our determination to put the preservation of Porquerolles' exceptional environment at the heart of our values. Since 2023, the Domaine's wines and tours have been marked Esprit Parc, demonstrating our strong commitment to the Park and a vision of raising awareness among our visitors through our wine tourism workshops to help them discover the natural resources this island provides.
