Coastal path: Plage Miramar / Les salins d'Hyères

The trail starts at the western end of Plage Miramar and follows yellow markers along the edge of this unspoilt environment.
Along the way, you can spot pink flamingos, stilts, terns and other migratory birds, while admiring the typical vegetation such as glasswort. What's more, the trail offers exceptional views of the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros from the coastline.

You can visit the nature reserve at the old salt pans in Hyères.

Bicycles are not allowed on the trail
ADVICE AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
Bring hiking shoes or trainers, water, hat or cap.
- Always keep informed of weather conditions.
- In the event of an emergency, call 112.
- The use and parking of all motorised vehicles on DFCI roads is prohibited all year round. From June to September, before driving in the Var mountain ranges, check the opening conditions on the fire risk map (updated at 5pm every day for the following day) or by calling the tourist office.
