Suspended between sky and sea, the Musée de la Mine de Cap Garonne, in Le Pradet, opens its galleries to you for an intense and original artistic experience. Much more than a former mining site, it's a living, inspiring place, where every stone seems to vibrate to the rhythm of culture.
As part of its immersive 2025 program, the museum offers you a rare moment of theater, between raw emotion and poetic introspection, at the very heart of its underground galleries.
The Metamorphosis - from Kafka to the stage
At 3pm, actor Killian Chapput delivers a powerful, intimate interpretation of La Métamorphose, inspired by Franz Kafka's cult classic.
Alone on stage, he plays Gregor Samsa, suddenly transformed into an insect, in a performance of striking accuracy and depth.
A show that questions otherness, solitude and the gaze of others, in an atmosphere magnified by the mineral setting of the mine.
