Presentation
It is planted with monumental cedars (Cedrus), hundred-year-old plane trees (Platanus occidentalis), cypresses (Cupressus sempervirens), lime trees (Tilia cordata), Chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum) and a remarkable magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora) over 80 years old overlooking an orchard of fruit trees, created and maintained by the children in extra-curricular workshops.
The spring that flows from it feeds the Pont Vieux fountain.
An old waterwheel, a basin and a well bear witness to the market gardening past of this wooded area in the heart of the village.
