This art and history museum also evokes maritime life in Toulon from the 18th century to the present day, the history of the arsenal, shipbuilding, the galleys and the penal colony, and the evolution of ships in the Mediterranean from the 17th century to the present day, through models, plan-reliefs, paintings, sculptures and navigation instruments.
