Presentation
Your day begins at the port of La Londe-les-Maures. In just 30 minutes, you arrive at the port of Porquerolles, where your exploration begins. Stroll through the village, discover the Fort Sainte-Agathe, the Moulin du Bonheur or let yourself be seduced by the Villa Carmignac, a contemporary art centre. Then take advantage of the nearby beaches, such as Courtade and Plage d'Argent, for a relaxing swim. Stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants in the village and savour the local flavours
At 2pm, your boat is waiting to take you to Port-Cros, the wildest and most unspoilt of the Golden Islands. As you sail along the north-east coast of Porquerolles, admire the magnificent scenery of Cap des Mèdes. Then approach the uninhabited islet of Bagaud, now a scientific research centre for the Parc national de Port-Cros.
When you arrive in Port-Cros, let yourself be enveloped by the calm and beauty of this wild island. Set off on foot along its picturesque paths, which lead to the Fort de l'Estissac, or sit on a terrace in the village to enjoy the scenery and the surrounding peace and quiet.
NEED TO KNOW
When you visit the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros, you are entering the territory of the Parc national de Port-Cros, a protected and fragile natural area. In order to preserve this exceptional setting, certain rules must be observed:
