Méditerranée Porte des Maures is an area stretching between land and sea, encompassing 3 coastal communes and 3 "retro-littoral" communes.
Since the NOTRe law and the transfer of responsibilities in 2017, 4 of these communes have grouped together around the OTI based in La Londe les Maures:

- Pierrefeu du Var

MISSIONS OF THE INTERCOMMUNAL TOURIST OFFICE
The missions of the Intercommunal Tourist Office are :
- Welcome and advise visitors on their visit and stay
- Promote the destination to raise its profile
- Promote quality and qualification of the tourism offering (classification of furnished accommodation, bed and breakfast, etc.)
- Coordinating the network of tourism professionals to promote and federate the region
- Sale of tourism products and management of the boutique
- Protecting, promoting and enhancing local heritage (organization of guided tours on heritage, nature and local produce).
Additional tasks include
- Participate in the development and implementation of tourism policy and development programs within the ''Méditerranée Porte des Maures'' intercommunality
- Acting as a privileged contact for associations , promoting their activities and reselling certain event tickets (free of charge)
- Participate in the design, production, organization and follow-up of local and inter-communal events
These missions have been delegated by the CCMPM to the OTI in collaboration with the ADT, Var Tourisme, the Conseil Départemental and the CRT Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur.
