This is the charm ofone of Provence's oldest villages, located between the plains and hills of the Var department. Rich in history, the commune bears the imprint of the past. Le Vieux Cuers, a testimony to the medieval period, reveals winding streets lined with beautiful houses from centuries past that climb the hill. The commune boasts numerous fountains and wash-houses, and offers a magnificent view from the Notre Dame de Santé chapel.
This historical heritage is complemented by a natural heritage: the Barres de Cuers, a beautiful alignment of limestone cliffs that is a must-see for nature lovers. Throughout the year, other marked trails around the town attract walkers.
Cuers is also an important wine-growing commune, with a vineyard covering almost 1,000 hectares and producing wines bearing the "Côtes de Provence" label.
