Every year in autumn, at chestnut harvest time, Collobrières becomes the chestnut capital of the Var. The Fêtes de la Châtaigne, the village's signature event, is back for three festive Sundays on 12, 19 and 26 October 2025!
Local artisans, producers, artists and enthusiasts will be on hand to help you discover authentic know-how, exceptional products and living traditions, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Sunday 12 October -Varois producers' day:
On the Place de la Mairie, a day dedicated to the best of our local produce. Pascal Baradoni at the controls of the brazier! Locavore tastings of local produce prepared by the chef.
Free admission.
Tastings with the purchase of a €15 "Gastronomy Pass", on sale on the day.
Sunday 19 October - International Day:
10:00: Parade of delegations from twinned towns: Frabosa Sottana (Italy), Pujerra (Spain) and the Italian delegation from Sassetta, representatives from the Italian Chamber of Commerce for France in Marseille, Confréries, folklore groups and Italian flag-wavers.
10:30: Solemn Mass
All day: demonstration of glassblowing and woodturning.
Sunday 26 October - Craftsmen's Day:
Festival des Vieux Métiers (Old Craftsmen's Festival): presentation and demonstration of old-time crafts with the Giens 1900 association and wool working with the Ferme du Lambert.

"Cork and chestnuts, then and now", with Mélanie Robeau: Saturdays 4, 18, 25, October at 10am and Wednesdays 22 and 29 October at 10am.
