Château Montaud - Terres de Ravel Les 4 Châteaux
Presentation
From the 1950s onwards, François-Joseph Ravel refocused his business in Provence around the family birthplace. Château Montaud was restored, the adjoining land was shaped into wide terraces with schistous soil, the first vineyard plantations in Provence were started and a vinification cellar was built. Then came Château Guiranne, Château l'Oasis and finally Château Garamache into the family fold. Over the years, vines and olive trees have replaced orchards of peaches, nectarines and other fruit trees.
François-Louis Ravel and his wife Béatrice rose to the technical and commercial challenges of the 70's and 90's, developing the export sector considerably.
Then it was Frédéric Ravel's turn to face up to the new challenges posed by climate change and global developments. Sustainable farming, new markets, new technologies...
As we enter the 21st century, the adventure continues at Terres de Ravel, which now offers you certified products with High Environmental Value.
